We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm from September to April at Worksop Cricket & Sports Club, Central Avenue, Worksop a comfortable venue with bar facilities, wheelchair access and excellent car parking.
We also have an Audio Induction Loop system for the hard of hearing.

We welcome new members and provide a forum for anyone interested in photography to meet other enthusiasts learn new skills and get more from their hobby.

All levels of ability are welcome and an expensive, sophisticated camera is not a pre-requisite as excellent pictures can be taken using basic equipment.

We understand that joining an established club can be rather daunting for a newcomer so Committee members are on hand to answer your questions and introduce you to other members.

We are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance Of Great Britain (PAGB) through the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation (N&EMPF) giving members an opportunity to submit work for exhibition and ultimately earn nationally recognised photographic distinctions.

Have a look at our programme, it is carefully planned to include something of interest to everyone with talks, competitions, social evenings and instructional/practical sessions.

Competitions for prints and digital images take place throughout the season but whilst they can be fun and are instructive they are not compulsory and many of our members come along to listen to the talks, look at images and learn from practical and project sessions and the work of more experienced photographers.

We do not claim to be a photographic school but new members should not be discouraged if they require assistance. Tell us what help you need and we will do our best. We can, if necessary, provide informal mentoring and advice on courses, equipment and software to enhance your hobby.

See our outings section on the "What's On" page for more information.
